Pilgrim
Rant

alone, I have walked
once a lowely thing
bold, perhaps arrogant, I look up and see the promise
of something better than these rocks
upon wich I stand

A pilgrim now, I find a star on the same journey
fighting desparalty against all gravity
to reach her destiny, something better
wanting of company, I call out
and lament, what if she were to fall

this path upon which I walk
fails me only by my own fault
and the course she now soars
seems a direction I have not concidered
and can never forget

these arms have never caught
the breath of creation under their weight
and I find myself too humble to dare
what if I were to fall
